OUR FRUIT BRANDY
We proudly make our GRAPPA (rakia, ракия, tsipouro, raki, rakija) out of wine, not skins, pulp, seeds, and stems (i.e., the pomace) left over from winemaking process. That makes our Grappa mild on taste, rich in flavor and with bouquet, brilliant yet delicate aroma. We ferment the grapes using world's best strains of wine yeasts and distill the wines at very low temperatures so that we can transfer the aromas into the final product. Majority of grapes varieties we use are grown on the West Coast of USA, mostly California.
BOTTLE SIZES: 375 ML and 750 ML
ALCOHOL CONTENT: Usually around 40% ABV or 80 proof.
OTHER NAMES: European countries have different names for Grappa (e.g., Eau de Vie, German Schnaps, Bulgarian Rakia, ракия, Italian Aqua Vitae,Turkish rakı, Romanian țuică, Czech and Slovak pálenka, Hungarian pálinka, and so on)
COCKTAILS: Due to their unrefined and elegant aromas our grappas (rakia, ракия) are excellent ingredient for cocktails.
SERVING SIZE: Grappa is usually served as a digestif. The typical serving size is 30 to 60 ml (1.0 to 2.0 US fl oz), typically drunk before, after or during a meal.
GLASSWARE: Connoisseurs favor a tulip-shaped glass.
